Amazon HPB Packaging Engineer
Amazon’s Global Sourcing team is looking for a seasoned Packaging Engineer to lead Hardline Private Brand Sustainable Packaging Design Program. 
The ideal candidate will thrive in a highly collaborative, analytical, creative, and fast-paced International environment. The ideal candidate must be self-driven and have the analytical horsepower to break down complex problems, and a strong will to get things done and deliver results. 

Finally, the candidate must also be a strong communicator, with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively.

 

The candidate will work in the Amazon Global Sourcing Office in Nanshan, Shenzhen, China.
This is 9-12 months contractor (Salary equal to Full Time) with opportunity to convert to Full Time Position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDE
?Redesign E-commerce packaging for sustainable material, recyclability, recycled content ratio increase
?Enhance Packaging Quality to reduce damage
?Sustainable Packaging Guideline Refreshment
?Packaging BOM  (Bill of material) collection and analysis
?Packaging material cost and supply chain cost saving initiative
?Packaging Compliance for different region’s regulation
?Carbon footprint analysis

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
?Solid expertise and experience in Packaging design, structure, material, cost, etc.
?5+ years working experience
?Strong Communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
?Structure Thinking with Project management experience
?Passion on sustainability
?Fluent in English and Mandarin both in Speaking and Writing
?Bachelor and above degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
?Working experience in International companies
?Additional Working Experience in Sourcing/Supply Chain
?Major in Packaging/ Material/ Chemical/ Environment
?Master degree preferred
